About Us

CPRSince 1991, The Beat Goes On CPR & First Aid Training Center has offered professional CPR and First Aid Training to individuals and businesses to all of Hampton Roads.

Getting certified has never been easier. We teach monthly at our location or can custom tailor a session at your location.

How We Got Started:

The Beat Goes On Training Center was established in Hampton Roads in April 1991 by Linda Thacker, a Registered Nurse.  Linda wanted to train people to know what to do in the event of an emergency where someone stopped breathing or was seriously injured and was bleeding profusely.

Linda did not want people to be in a situation where they realized they might be watching someone die because of a completely unexpected sequence of events, such as a car accident or a child falling into a swimming pool.

The Beat Goes On Training Center employs only Certified Instructor Trainers for all courses. Each Instructor Trainer must meet rigid training requirements yearly. Pride is taken on customer service with an emphasis on individual training needs.

Trusted By Many:

The Beat Goes On has provided CPR and First Aid certification to thousands of individuals and businesses around Hampton Roads. We've successfully provided services to daycare, churches, child-care centers, schools, contractors, at others.
